Pipe Cap

Pipe Cap, also known as a tube cap or plug, is a key pipe fitting used to seal the end of a pipeline. Its main functions are to block the pipeline, prevent medium leakage, and stop external impurities from entering the pipeline, ensuring the integrity and tightness of the piping system. As an indispensable accessory in pipeline engineering, it is widely applied to various industrial pipelines, municipal pipe networks, and civil water supply and drainage systems, meeting the sealing requirements of different scenarios with stable performance.

In terms of materials, pipe caps are available in carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, PVC, and other types. Threaded pipe caps are equipped with internal or external threads, enabling convenient installation and disassembly without welding, often used for small and medium-diameter, low-pressure pipelines and pipelines requiring temporary plugging. Socket-welded pipe caps are fixed by socket connection, compatible with thin-walled pipes and featuring high installation efficiency, suitable for conventional pressure water supply, drainage, and fire-fighting pipelines.

The product specifications cover nominal diameters from DN15 to DN2000, with wall thickness in accordance with standard series such as SCH5 to SCH160, matching piping systems of different pressure classes. Production is strictly carried out in line with domestic and international standards including GB/T12459 and ASME B16.9. Standard procedures are implemented in every process from raw material selection, forming and processing to finished product inspection, ensuring accurate product dimensions and qualified mechanical properties.
