Low Temperature Toughness Line Pipe
Low temperature toughness line pipe is a special pipeline material designed specifically for cold regions and low-temperature medium transportation scenarios. Its core advantage is that it can still maintain excellent toughness and structural stability in extreme low-temperature environments, effectively avoiding the risk of low-temperature brittle fracture, and it is a core component in fields such as low-temperature energy transmission and polar engineering.
The product uses low-carbon micro-alloyed steel as the raw material, reasonably adds alloying elements such as nickel, chromium and molybdenum to optimize the internal structure of the material, and is matched with precise processes such as controlled rolling and cooling and multi-stage isothermal treatment, so as to improve low-temperature toughness and impact resistance from the source, while taking into account good weldability and corrosion resistance. The production process includes two types: seamless and welded. Welded products adopt advanced welding technology to ensure that the weld toughness is highly matched with the base metal, the geometric dimension accuracy is stable, and it is suitable for on-site installation needs.
This line pipe can adapt to a variety of low-temperature working conditions, can maintain good plasticity and impact resistance in extreme low-temperature environments, effectively inhibit low-temperature embrittlement, and also has excellent resistance to hydrogen-induced cracking and sulfide stress corrosion cracking, adapting to complex transportation needs such as sour media and low-temperature fluids. Manufactured in strict compliance with mainstream domestic and international standards such as API 5L and ASTM A333, the product undergoes multi-stage quality verification including non-destructive testing, hydrostatic testing and low-temperature impact testing throughout the production process to ensure the stable and reliable performance of each line pipe.
It has a wide range of application scenarios, and can be used in projects such as polar oil and gas development, liquefied natural gas transportation, oil and gas trunk lines in cold regions, and low-temperature chemical pipelines. It can operate stably for a long time in complex climate and geological environments such as plateaus, frigid zones and polar regions, with a long design service life, providing solid guarantee for safe energy transmission and industrial production in low-temperature environments.
