Product Overview:
The 3PE anti-corrosion steel pipe is a high-performance pipeline product designed to transport oil, gas, water, and other fluids in demanding underground or underwater environments. It combines the structural strength of steel with a three-layer polyethylene (3PE) coating system to ensure superior corrosion resistance and extended service life.
Structure of the 3PE Coating:
The 3PE coating consists of three integrated layers:
Inner Layer – Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE): Provides strong adhesion to the steel surface and excellent resistance to corrosion.
Middle Layer – Copolymer Adhesive: Bonds the epoxy and polyethylene layers, offering flexibility and resistance to shear forces.
Outer Layer – Polyethylene (PE): Offers mechanical protection against impact, abrasion, and environmental stress during installation and service.
Product Specifications:
Diameter: DN60–DN3000 (customizable)
Wall Thickness: As per GB/T, API, or customer requirements
Coating Thickness: Typically 1.8–3.7 mm for outer PE layer
Operating Temperature Range: –30°C to +80°C
Standard Compliance: SY/T 0413, DIN 30670, GB/T 23257, API
